Leather Coats for Men
A leather coat covers more than a jacket. This section runs from mid-thigh car coats to full-length trench coats and overcoats, in smooth and distressed finishes, some with a fur or shearling collar. All made to the size you choose.
Lengths

Car coat, around mid-thigh, easy to wear over a suit or jeans
Three-quarter and overcoat, to the knee, for more coverage and a formal line
Trench, below the knee, usually double-breasted with a belt

Leather and warmth

Lambskin and sheepskin for a soft coat with good drape
Cowhide for a heavier, more structured coat
Distressed and rub-off finishes for a worn-in look from the first wear
Quilted, wool or faux-fur linings, and removable fur or shearling collars, for winter

Fit and sizing
A coat should close over a jacket or a heavy knit without pulling. Choose your size from the drop-down at checkout. We email an order confirmation with the chest, shoulder, sleeve and length measurements for that size so you can check them, and you can reply for an adjustment or an unlisted size.
Care
Hang on a wide wooden hanger, never a wire one, away from heat and direct light. Condition two or three times a year. If it gets wet, hang it to dry naturally and condition afterwards.
Common questions
Can I wear a leather coat over a suit? Yes, a car coat or knee-length overcoat works well. Check the shoulder and chest measurements against your suit jacket.
Is a leather trench coat warm? The leather blocks wind well. For cold weather, choose one with a quilted or wool lining.
How do I store it in summer? On a wide hanger in a breathable garment bag, not plastic, somewhere cool and dark.
